We had a really good Christmas and I loved being with our family this year. Hopefully we can see the Northern Doyle people again real soon, and also Grandma and Scott. Happy holidays and a blessed New Year to everyone.

It's been a real good November and I'm looking forward to December being good too. Both Brady and I have gone through a small stretch of being sick but I think we're both mostly well now. We're enjoying our new place and hope to have a family get together to decorate gingerbread houses soon. I know I still haven't put pictures of the house up Shellie. I have no excuse and will keep trying to get it done. I wish all of you health and happiness. I love you all.

I know it has been like forever since I've updated. We've got mostly settled in now and we're looking to go to Salt Lake next week for 3-5 days. Other than that we mostly work, sleep, and just hang out at home. Boring I know :). Halloween was really fun and I'm excited for the other holidays this year. It's great to be home around family this year. I'm loving it.

We've got internet at our house finally and we also laid the backer board for the tile in the laundry room so things are finally starting to come along. I'm loving living here most of the time and am so glad we are on our own. Shellie as soon as I can get some photos taken with my digital camera I will post them.

We're closing on our house at 3 today and I couldn't be more excited. It'll be so nice to have our 1st home that me and Brady own instead of rent. I'm starting to feel the pressure but will be so glad when the keys are safely in our hands. We had such a nice mini vacation at my in-laws timeshare here in town and our now ready to get back to the real world (at least I hope). We love you all and hope you're doing well. I really like the new pictures Rachel. They're quite cute.

Our written contract is signed and delivered. Now we get to move on to signing our loan, doing our home inspections, and CLOSING!!!! I'm so so excited to think we'll be in our own place by the end of September if all continues to go well. Mom we love you too, you rock.

We put an offer in on a townhouse and it was accepted. I'm so happy now we just have to wait for our contract to be written up. This next month is going to be a whirlwind of adventure but when it's over we will be the proud new owners of our new home. Did I mention I'm excited!!!!! :)

Feeling a bit off today. Sometimes that time of the month can be a real bear. I have an interview with one of the elementary school's tomorrow. I hope I get the job. This will give me three part time jobs plus I'm seeing a back/ neck specialist 3 times a week for some issues I'm dealing with. Life will be crazy busy for awhile, but that's the way I usually like it.

I went to see Family Health and Rehab Doctor Andersen today. Can I say I think he's really great even if he did say my neck was crap and would need extensive treatment to make it better. Anything will be worth it if I can stop having headaches, neck issues, and back issues. GASP! even learning to quit sleeping on my stomach :). It will be interesting to see how this develops.

We took Breane out for an early birthday today, her birthday is on Saturday. We went to Flood Street theaters and saw How to Train your Dragon and the after wards we went to Panda Express and then back to my mom's to watch another movie called The Lonely Place. It was fun hanging out with her and the movie was really cute. On Friday we're due to celebrate Brady's birthday and then nothing else is going on until later in the month when it's mine and my Aunt's birthdays.

Fall down and go Boom!

Yea it seems to be my lot in life to not get through a 4th of July without some minor injury. I was at my mom's house before my hubby so when he came to the door I tried to jump up and answer it. I happened to fall right in my mom's ice cooler she had out for the night and down to the floor. Can we say major klutz! All in all though it was a really nice 4th, we had our own little fireworks display and then Jo and I watched the ending of the town fireworks. Love your 4th of July pictures Rachel, they're really cute.

work seems like it is kicking my trash lately. Brady and I were laughing all we seem to do these days is work and sleep. It really feels that way I'm telling you. We are thinking of taking a vacation up North sometime soon to go to Yellowstone and visit family and friends. I'm thinking of going late August early September before we get snow up there. Is that a good time or can anyone think of a better one? We can't go in July because it's inventory month at Brady's Walmart. Hope you're all doing well. We send our love.

Another sleepless night. Now I remember why I hate working in Breakfast. It'll be nice at the other end of the day though when I can have a lazy Sunday afternoon, evening. Iron Man 2 was really good. Even though it was really rushed I'm glad we finally made it, it was nice to get to watch a movie at the theater instead of home for a change. I hope you're all doing well, and you have a good Sunday. If I ever wake up and get feeling better I will too.

I gotta quit telling people I'll do things for them. I agreed to do breakfast at our motel today and Sunday. I have to get up no later than 6 to be there by 7. Unfortunately my IBS decided to flare up last night so I only got 20 minutes of sleep the whole night, this should be fun! Anyhow sorry I haven't posted in so long but as you can see I don't have much to post about except health problems and insane insomnia. Hope the rest of you are having a better day than I am.

Not much going on with us lately. Just work and chilling mainly. I've been sick, but am hopefully getting better. Penny is going to babysit Braxly today, so I can just chill and focus on getting better. Sheena and Shan's college graduation is Friday and Mother's Day is Sunday, so it's shaping up to be a pretty busy week. Hope you're all doing well.

The kite festival was so much fun on Saturday, no one had any clue on how big it would be. The kids were so cute. and had so much fun at it. Can't wait to go next year.

Fasting did not go well, apparently my body doesn't like being purged. I've been up since 3:15 am with serious bowel problems. I'm never fasting for a blood test again unless it's for a life threatening disease like diabetes. I hope I can get some rest before I babysit Braxly later today. So far I've only gotten somewhere between 3 hrs 20 mins to 3 1/2 hours. Hope the rest of you are doing better than me right at the moment.

Babysitting went well today. He took a 2 1/2 hour nap. I love that kid :). Brady made the cookies I was planning on making, so I got to take them to my visiting teaching partners family. I love my husband. Both Mom and apparently Serenity are celebrating birthdays soon. I bought Serenity a birthday card and I'm going to put a few dollars in it. Sorry Mom I'm not telling you what we got you. I hope you all had a great day, I sure did.

Up in the middle of the night, again. I hate not being able to sleep! I'm babysitting Brax again today. I'm hoping to be able to take him back to the hidden valley park, he has so much fun there. Works crazy busy right now, hope we can catch it all up soon. I love you all and hope you're all doing well.

I was supposed to babysit Brax today but I haven't been feeling well. Just really worn out and sick with either a cold or sinus infection. Hope I get feeling better soon. I want to be able to enjoy Easter with family. I love the new pictures of your cute family Rachel, I hope we can both get up that way to see you all sometime soon. I hope everyone is doing well. I've worked really hard the last three days so I'm super tired. I'm planning on taking the day off and just having fun. I'm going to go shopping for a new pair of Crocs, and make lasagna for dinner. I hope all the rest of you have a great Saturday. I love you all.

Babysitting yesterday went pretty well. I swear that child gets more active as he grows though. Nothing seems to hold his attention for very long, plus Sheena is trying to get him away from the bottle and onto solid food because he's underweight for his age. It was so much easier when I could just give him a bottle. I made 28.75 babysitting for three days. It's a good thing he's so cute, or I would think this wasn't worth it. Hope the rain quits soon so I can spend some time outdoors. Hope you all have a great day. I love you all.

So glad to be home after a stressful and emotional 5 days up North. Penny's mom died early Thursday morning so the Postma's headed up on Friday to be with her. Only Shan and Brady had to stay here and work. 3 days with very little sleep plus babysitting all day on Tuesday made me very grateful to be home and back with Brady. I'm so worn out I hope I get back to my regular rhythm soon. I hope you're all well. I love you all.

Coral Hills has really kicked my butt the last 3 days. That coupled with two nights of very little sleep and I'm a very tired girl. I hope to relax and rest some today to get ready to work the next few. I work tomorrow, Saturday is my nephew's party. Then Sunday I work, Monday afternoon I babysit him, Tues and Wed I work, Thurs I babysit him. So I don't have another real day off until next Friday. I hope I really enjoy this one. It's nice to work and earn an income though, even if it is small compared to Brady's. Hope you all have a great day.

Mom was such a great help with babysitting Braxly yesterday, and he had a blast. Even after we came back to Jo and Clyde's he was such a happy boy. Thanks for all you do Mom, I love you.

I went to Wal-mart this morning to buy a birthday present for my friend's little girl who is having her 2 year old birthday party tomorrow. Then I spent a few hours with my mom this afternoon while my slow cooker pot roast was cooking for dinner. This evening I made caramel-chocolate bars for my mom's Super Bowl party on Sunday. Through this whole day I've thought off and on how this is what stay at home mom's do, and I've decided Brady can be the stay at home mom I'm definitely working if I can. It's boring staying at home day in and day out. My hat goes off to all the women who can do it, it drives me crazy after awhile. Everything I did today was fun, but I can't help but think I'd have just as much fun working. Especially if it was a job I really enjoyed doing. Hopefully the laundry works into a nice part-time position soon.

Babysitting turned out pretty well yesterday. That child is definitely a goer. I think between that twice a week and working at the laundry as a fill-in I should feel like I have some semblance of a real life soon. I didn't realize how bored I could be, until I didn't have work to go to anymore. I hope everyone else is doing well.

Job offer for the school district didn't work out. Apparently they weren't hiring. So instead I'm going to babysit my nephew Braxly on Monday and Thursday afternoon's from about 1:30-6:15 at least until I get a job then we'll reevaluate. I hope you're all doing well.

I've got a possible job offer to work as a special ed teacher's aide for the school district. I'll let you all know if I get the job or not. I'm hoping I do because we could certainly use the money. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm having a lazy Sunday myself.

I did it again. Yes, I did! I went into a shop for a certain item ,[actually 4items, all the same] it should have cost me 10 dollars. 78 dollars [ant ten minutes] later, I leave said shop. How DO I do that? That's more than I made working yesterday! In my defense, they WERE having their semi-annual sale. I'd tell ya all where I was but then you'd KNOW what you're getting as gifts this year. Although I DO let go of my money pretty freely, I CAN claim that I RARELY pay full price for anything. Now, I need to teach myself to use those discounts wisely and not just buy the stuff that was CHEAP CRAP anyway. Happy shopping all! xoxo

Geez I go get the car fixed with a new radiator, and now I can't drive it again. Yes you all heard right! As I was driving home from mom's house today something hit my passenger window and shattered it to smithereens. I'm starting to really have some resentment towards this car. Couldn't these things wait until we have money?

I got a new job working at Dollar Tree. I started yesterday and was working for about 1 1/2 hours before she came to me and said I'm non-rehire able. Yea apparently I screwed up with the Dollar Tree in Logan by not showing up to work after they hired me. Oh well she's going to try and work it out and if it doesn't, I assume it is because it wasn't meant to be. Have loved hanging with Mom these past few days. I sure love that woman. Hope you're all well.

Well the trip up and back from Logan went well. We now have internet and are starting to get settled into Jo and Clyde's house, and hopefully I'll soon be employed. I've put my application in at about 9 places, and have about 15 or so more I'm interested in filling out applications for. I'm hoping one of these will pay off with a job. I hope everyone is doing well and is happy. I need to clean the guest bath, and fill out more applications today. Wish me luck.
