This past weekend we went home to St. George for my 10 year high school reunion, and to see our families. It was a lot of fun but also a bit expensive, almost 200 dollars in gas for both the vehicles going down and back. Also our reunion dinner cost us 50 dollars so overall the whole weekend cost us 270 dollars. Insane for just 2 days home, 3 for me, I stayed Thursday too. Because of this we will be on a tight budget for the next few weeks, and hopefully this will help us get back where we need to be financially. It looks like the Dollar Store job fell through, but my interview with Wal-mart went well, and I should start cashiering for them in just a couple of weeks. I think that's pretty much most of what's going on in our lives right now.

There's a rapist up here targeting newlywed young women in both the Legacy and Bridger Pointe Apartments. It has made all of us ladies extremely insecure and nervous, especially since a lot of the women I know have young families. We're all keeping our doors locked and not answering them for anyone we don't know. Hopefully they catch the creep really soon, and we can get back to enjoying our lives.

It was fun spending time with Jo, Sheena, Shan, Uncle Scott, and Grandma over the weekend. We went to the Hill Air Force museum on Saturday, ate KFC for dinner at Grandma's house, and had chocolate cake that evening. On Sunday we went to church with Penny in Provo at 1:30, then we parted ways. They headed home to St. George, and we headed home to Logan. It was a fun weekend and I loved getting the chance to spend some time with family. We'll be seeing all of you on the 26th, 27th, and 28th so take care and stay out of trouble until then.

Not much has happened this past week, it's been relatively boring. I had a job interview with Kmart on Tuesday, but they won't know if they can hire me until the beginning of October. Sheena and Shan are supposed to stay with us on Saturday night and then on Sunday after church we are supposed to go to Grandma Shipley's house to celebrate Sheena and Uncle Scott's birthdays. Mostly I'm just taking it easy and trying to enjoy the fact that I don't have to work. It's hard though, especially since I've spent so much of my adult life working.

I went down to St. George this past weekend, it was so much fun. I didn't do much Friday night because I didn't get into St. George until 7 pm. Saturday I spent the morning helping my mother-in-law with a project, and Saturday afternoon from 1:30-4:30 I helped work at the laundry. Saturday evening I went with Jo and Sheena to Harmon's to eat at their salad bar it was yummy, and then we went to Golden Spoon with Clyde to have yogurt. I love Golden Spoon's yogurt. Sunday I went to church with Jo and Sheena and Sunday evening me, my mom, and Breane went over to Hannah's baby blessing. On Monday my mom and I went shopping and that evening we went to Tuacahn to see Big River, it was incredibly awesome, and that pretty much finishes up my full and packed weekend. It was so much fun though, and I'm glad to be back home with Brady.
